Supporting adults with OCD and anxiety
Facing your fears in therapy takes courage.
Maybe anxiety has been calling the shots, you’ve been avoiding things that matter to you, or fear and overthinking have made your world feel smaller. You may know what you want to change but feel unsure how to get there.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what’s keeping you stuck, and begin moving toward the life you want. My goal is not to force you through what feels difficult, but to help you build the skills, confidence, and sense of safety to approach it with greater flexibility and self-trust.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering individual therapy for adults navigating OCD, anxiety, and the challenges that can come with daily life. Together, we’ll work to better understand your patterns, gently challenge avoidance, and create more room for the people, experiences, and values that matter to you.
I believe healing isn’t about never feeling anxious, uncomfortable, or afraid. Instead, therapy can help you develop the ability to experience difficult thoughts and emotions without letting them dictate your choices.
My work can incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion, depending on your needs and goals. Therapy is tailored to where you are and what you’re ready to work toward.
If anxiety or OCD has been taking up more space in your life than you’d like, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Hi! I’m Ori.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and develop a deeper connection with yourself.
I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety and OCD, and I also support people navigating trauma, depression, life transitions, and other experiences that can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapy while also recognizing the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. I draw from CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), somatic therapy, mindfulness, attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and interpersonal neurobiology.
My clinical experience has spanned outpatient, school, and higher levels of care settings, where I've worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of concerns. These experiences have taught me the importance of meeting each person as an individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
I have completed a professional certification in Brain Health, a 12-day in-person certification in Somatic Therapy, and additional training in CBT/ERP for anxiety and OCD. I also have a background in mindfulness facilitation and trauma-informed care.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.
At the heart of my work is the belief that you deserve a therapeutic relationship where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without judgment. I'll bring compassion, curiosity, and clinical expertise to our work together while helping you build the capacity to make meaningful changes.
I'd be honored to be part of that process.
Individual Therapy
I offer individual telehealth therapy for adults throughout California.
My practice focuses primarily on OCD and anxiety. Treatment is individualized to your needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches as well as mindfulness, somatic, and self-compassion practices.
OCD
I provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for adults experiencing OCD.
ERP involves gradually approaching thoughts, situations, or sensations that trigger anxiety while learning to respond without relying on compulsions or other behaviors that maintain the OCD cycle.
Treatment is collaborative and thoughtfully paced, with the goal of helping you develop greater flexibility and freedom in your daily life.
Anxiety
I work with adults experiencing anxiety in many forms, including excessive worry, overthinking, avoidance, perfectionism, and difficulty tolerating uncertainty.
Therapy may involve identifying patterns that maintain anxiety, developing practical skills, and practicing new ways of responding to anxious thoughts and situations.
Therapeutic Approaches
Depending on your needs and goals, I may incorporate:
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
An evidence-based treatment for OCD that focuses on approaching feared experiences while reducing compulsive responses.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured approach that explores the relationship between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns that contribute to distress.
Mindfulness
Practices that can help you notice thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations with greater awareness rather than automatically reacting to them.
Somatic Approaches
Ways of bringing attention to physical sensations and the body's experience as part of the therapeutic process.
Nervous System Regulation
Practices that support awareness of physiological responses to stress and develop greater capacity for grounding and regulation.
Self-Compassion
Exploring how you relate to yourself, particularly when self-criticism, shame, or perfectionism become part of the picture.
Telehealth
I currently offer telehealth sessions to adults located in California.
